This Cateye EC-5000 features patented chain over belt drive, triple speed increasing, and electromagnetic disk brake system. It has fully independent step action and each step pedal is with toe-stop. The pedals are articulated to remain level thru-out the entire 16 inch range of motion. The onboard computer provides five different programs and nine different readouts. The two new generation back-lit liquid crystal displays of the type currently being used on lap-top computers. These backlit LCD display the biofeedback data. The graphing, back-lit liquid crystal display shows your heart rate in comparison to your work rate and numeric, back-lit liquid crystal display shows speed, elevation, calories, chosen work level, work rate in watts, time and heart rate.
